I asked ghostyouknow27 for questions a while back, and she answered me with CRACK.

1) What are three crack tropes (besides mpreg!) that you'd really like to see explored in a serious way?

I don't know what that parenthetical is there for.

These will mostly look familiar to ghostyouknow27, but:
* alpha/beta/omega dynamics. I know, y’all would never have guessed. I'm still busy being fascinated by the fannish development there.

* Pern fusions. Y’all, I am such a sucker for a Pern fusion.

* Weird additional body parts (wings!) or new abilities. Basically, I love watching people have to deal with bodies that aren't quite they used to be, and in weird cracky ways that are potentially very cool but also weird enough that society has no framework through which to understand them.

2) What are three pairings (any kind, friendship/sibling, etc) that you'd like to see show up in some crack fics?

Right now I'm a lot more excited about crack in RPF than in canon fic, because RPF puts characterization at the author's discretion and allows for nifty worldbuilding that's harder to do when also trying to work around canon relationships. So I'm gonna go with my SPN RPF pairings of the moment, which are Jared/Gen, Gen-Adrianne friendship, and Gen-Danneel friendship. Basically, I want many more ladies in my RPF crack.

3) What three crack fics do you most want to read at this very moment? (Can be real fics *or* hypothetical ones that you could have if only you had a Press-O-Matic crack!fic machine).

These are all things that exist only in my head, alas.

* One where sometime circa Buffy vs. Dracula, Buffy's little sister suddenly acquires wings/a tail/some other physically unlikely characteristic (or ability). It turns there were a few things the monks didn't get quite right when they poured all that energy into the shape of a teenage girl...

* Princess!Jared.

* A genderswapped Jared/Gen version of Romancing the Stone, with Gen as the devil-may-care smuggler and Jared as the fumbly neurotic romance author who's allergic to everything except his cat. YES PLEASE.

So apparently, what I want is mostly rom-commy het. Except, it has to be really careful about its power dynamics and the women have to awesome and the men have to be decent and respectful and not stupid. (Incidentally, until I got to fandom, I didn't believe it was possible to have a m/f romcom that didn't annoy me one way or another. Y'all have proven to me that sweet, genuine, funny romance is a thing that can exist.)
